Thumbs up PROCede V2 - Worth Every Penny :)

I decided to start a new thread about my V2 install as the first thread I started with the problem installing the V2 was entirely my fault

The reason I wasn't able to load the software onto the PROCede was because the ignition wasn't on. It's not enough that you put the key fob in you have to press the start button once while in gear and not having the clutch pressed.

Having said that

WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW & WOW.

The power is incredible, constant, and just simply amazing. Like someone said in their V2 review, it has changed my gearing so my 2nd is like 1st, 3rd like 2nd, 4th like 3rd and so on.

I'm speechless at this point. I will be taking it to get it dynoed within the next few days to see what kind of power it's pushing.....

Those who are considering getting it, do it. It's well worth the wait

Hmm, that explains why I couldnt do it, wasnt aware I had to press the button.

"The reason I wasn't able to load the software onto the PROCede was because the ignition wasn't on. It's not enough that you put the key fob in you have to press the start button once while in gear and not having the clutch pressed."

Thanks for the info.

Wait till we get 2.0.2.

So for Step, just insert the key fob and the ignition is on, right?

I have no idea, someone with step will have to answer that question for ya. I heard somewhere that there was something else you have to do for step. I swear it was pressing the start button twice or something weird like that.

I would have thought the same. I'm not mechanically minded at all. I really rely on precise instructions when it comes to things like this.

Cheers.

no, insert the key fob, then press the start button without your foot on the brake, you'll know it is on when all the dash lights come on, not just a couple

Step cars push the button twice. First time initates "radio readiness" - whatever that is. Second time turns the ignition on.

Think of it like in most cars with a real key. There is an accessory "ACC" position (which turns on the radio and some other accessories, and this is what one push turns on with our cars), and there is one position past that called "IGN" or ignition (the second push on our cars). Turn it to ignition and those circuits are live. Then (in a car with a key) you turn it to the momentary-on "START" position to start the car.

With our cars, the second push is the one that turns on the ignition. Just keep your foot off the brake LOL

CA users it's the same, you just don't put the key fob in the slot....
