Charge pipe and dci are where my leaks usually happen.

Dried out vac lines.

Just replace all to a good silicone vac line.

I definitely appreciate the help! I have a little knowledge from building my last turbo car, so maybe I shouldn't encounter too much trouble! I will hit you up if anything..

Lmao well to be honest, according to BMW, the plugs should last 80-100k but of course thats untuned, stock engine. I would honestly still suggest the walnut blasting, only because the difference is night and day. Running anything but stock on these cars throws a ton of gunk on those valves, even on a stock engine, with the cold winter we just had, I'm sure out of lets say 1,000,000 turbo BMWs in the NY area, 85% of those will have a terrible carbon build up from idling in this frigid NY weather lol. We had a guy come down, no mods, no tunes, BONE stock, but he has always "warmed up his car" for about 10-15 mins before his morning commute and has been caught using mid grade gasoline . That combination plus about 50-60k of normal driving and you could barely see his valves, took the car for a test drive, misfired in 2,4,6...cleared the codes then 1,3,5 lol. We cleaned up his plugs and did the walnut blasting and...amazing...no more rough idle, stumbling and his valves were so clean you could check your teeth in th reflection Long story short, its wise to get it done after a rough winter like this, and/or if your nearing 50k and have never had it done and then periodically every 25-35k after that. Im not a sales man, I'm someone looking out for my buddies on here and dont want carbon build up to ruin the HYPE of warm weather that is on its way (NEVER!!!!:thumb down) But anyways, everyone should already know, contact me if you have any questions.

I completely agree with you. The carbon build up is inevitable with any direct injection motor.
