BMW E90 Differential

I have a 2006 318d E90 with 2,47 differential ratio, i got a hand of a new 2012 3,07 ratio differential.

what will happend if i do install this one, will it fit? and will it make some probles due the ratio diffrent?

Err.

You car will go 20% slower for the same revs / gear.

But your speedo / odometer will still read the wrong higher speed.

The car will accelerate a lot better though

Don't fit it in other words.
