E92 Rear Diffuser Removal

The time has come for me to replace the standard M-Sport diffuser with a BMW Performance one...

Before I begin pulling pieces apart is there anything I should look out for before starting (I don't really want to damage anything!)? Is it just held on by the hex bolts underneath and clips?

yes, few bolts on the sides and clips in the middle,

where did you get your BMW Performance diffuser? Part number? Do you have any pictures of it???

I bought it new from a seller on eBay a few months ago (chose this way as it was already painted how I wanted it!) but BMW sell them - not too sure on the part number.

Fitting was pretty easy, just remove the hex bolts (8mm I think) and unclip - it felt like it was going to break as it took a bit of force but all turned out OK!

No pics at the moment but as it's a nice weekend, keep an eye out soon!

It was a private seller who was selling an unneeded item; it is a genuine BMW part so the fit is spot on.

I'd rather keep it so I can revert back to standard when I sell the car to be honest.
