Golf tee mod will it effect smog check?

so I'm just discovering this mod and the only thing that is holding me back is ima have to do smog since I just bought the car

Will his effect it to pass smog

I want to do it already lol

No effect on smog.
It is a vacuum control for the flap inside your left tail pipe.
Nothing else.

Just do it.

That just disconnect the cable right behind the light right

and that won't effect smog

unplugging the connector method indeed throws a code and if your state does an OBD check it could fail (although that's a non issue with that method since you would just plug it back in for inspection). Other methods won't throw a code or cause issue.
