ok, just starting a new thread from the old one: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=93605
to update everyone that was interested in getting their trim wrapped in matte black vinyl.

I know Sam Da Man was trying to set something up to get a meet together and have everyone help each other out with the install, but that doesn't seem to be working out because it's now getting colder and we can't find a place indoors to do it.

On to the update, i just got off the phone with the owner of a very well know vinyl shop in central nj, Vigg Designs in Freehold, and he is willing to host the meet for us. He is doing the numbers now and looking over the e92/e90 trim to give me a quote on how much he will charge each of us to get the trim wrapped. He does alot of vinyl work. He has wrapped entire sportbikes in vinyl, enclosed trailers and he does alot of work for Land Rover. Of course, the more people we get to do this all at once, the cheaper it will be for everyone. I mentioned the weekend after Thanksgiving, November 24-25, for the install. He's also looking over his schedule to see if he can fit all of us in on one of those days.

I would like to hear any suggestions from the guys that want to get this done. Is the date ok?
Does everyone want Matte Black or are there people looking for different colors?

Lets start this list so i can give Vigg Designs an exact head count, or at least something close to it. Again, the shop is located in Freehold, NJ. I will have a firm price for the work in the next coming days.




UPDATE- Monday, 11.19.07

Just got off the phone with Vigg Designs and have a date set up. I know alot of you guys wanted it done on a Sunday, but unfortunately the shop is closed and he doesn't work on Sundays. So the date is set up for Saturday, December 1st starting at 12pm. That should give you guys some time to try and clear your schedules and get you cars back for some of you. He is going to charge us $100. an hour for labor, so what he said was he knows he can do at least 2 cars an hour so that would be $50. each car if that's the case. If he can do 3 cars an hour it'll be $33. a car, ect. He said it would not be more than $50. per person. Also, i know some of you have your own vinyl, but he feels more comfortable using is quality 3M matte black vinyl. Only because he knows it's good stuff and he knows how to work with it. He isn't going to charge us for any of the vinyl material at all.

So to sum things up.... Saturday, December 1st-12pm... no more than $50. a car, possibly less. Shouldn't take more than 30 mins per car, so you guys can try and work that around your schedule. Don't think your gonna find it any cheaper than $50 to get this done including the vinyl. I know a member on this forum was selling just the pre-cut vinyl for $70 alone!!

Now that we have all of the info ironed out, i need a definite head count of who is going to go. It's Vigg Designs in Freehold,NJ. Either post up here or PM me. I need everyone to let me know by this Wednesday, Nov 21st, so i can let him know how many cars he's up against.

Address/Direction to Vigg Designs:

Located at 584 Park Ave in Freehold NJ. Our location is easily found from any direction with just one road from the NJ turnpike, Garden State Parkway, 195, or Rt9. Park Ave is really Rt 33, and crosses the middle of NJ. Take 100B off the GSP or 8 off the NJTP. Rt 9 crosses it by the Freehold Raceway mall, and take the rt 9 exit north off of 195.

Anyone else a Definite to get their trims wrapped in vinyl? I need to call Vigg Designs today (Wed. 11/21) and give him a final head count. So far we are at 12 people, so we're good for the discounted price of $50. or less on Sat. Dec 1st @12pm.

Just trying to give a few more people in the tri-state area a shot at getting this done for cheap! Let me know if anyone else in down. I need to call him by 4pm today (Wed. 11/12) the latest.

let me know what day and time, on saturdays I do Jiu Jitsu from 12-2 pm and on sundays I work till 11:30am if i can work around those times I'm definitely interested. BTW you guys are gonna like Vigg hes a great guy and does excellent work!

The dates i posted are not set in stone. Vigg still needs to check his schedule and confirm. He might have to push it to the following weekend. I'll put your name on the list as a "maybe" depending on the date.

I train with Ken Brach of Balance Jiu Jitsu he is a Pan Am Gold medalist. The school is in Voorhees NJ, We do Gi and No Gi training.

Yes tell him between 8-15 people so mabey the price seems better. Shouldnt take a pro too long too do it.
