Hi all,
Looking into getting alpina trans flash done. Questions: do I need to remove tune from PTF or run a "stock" map? I know with jb4 you need to go back to map 0.. -after flash, will I need to re-log/ tweak my PTF tune? -in future, will flashing/loading different maps "delete" the coding done prior? Thanks guys! |

What do you mean stock map? The PTF flash is no different than an OTS flash, outside of the fact that it is locked to your car.
Flashing the TCU is completely independent of flashing to the DME.

Perfect Pats135...
I was told jb4 guys and procede need to go to map 0 or valet mode prior...I just wasn't sure if AP users had to go back to stock (ijeos etc) I figured dme and coding were seperate, I just wanted to make sure. Thanks! |

The reason us JB4 or Procede guys have to switch to map 0 is because any other map blocks the use of the obd port which is needed to connect the cable used for the Alpina flash
