2009 e90 320d gearbox oil leak - multi plug
so i was under the car today checking it over and ive noticed there is oil leaking from the gearbox. ive cleaned it all off and will check again next week to see if i can spot the source. I did notice that the electrical multiplug was soaked in it. Both sump plugs looked sealed ok. could the leak be from the sensor through the multi-plug connector? anyone else any experience of this?
Tried to get a spanner onto the sensor to tighten it but i think its a funny size. Looks like its been leaking for a while! Id best do a level check next weekend. |

I had a leak on my Auto gearbox. The oil was leaking from the Mechatronics Sleeve at the back of the box. This resulted in a sump off repair which from a garage was a round £350 from memory.
I understand it can be a DIY job but not sure where to by the items from. |
