Hello Ladies/Gents,

Not been on here for a long time and didn't know the UK forum was as active as it is, will definitely be spending more time here in future!

couple of questions about my pre lci 318d that i hope you can help me with?

first one is the power, I've had it for 2 years now and it doesn't seem to be as powerful as when i first got it. its not an intermittent power issue that I've seen some of you describe. The power is consistent, however, it just doesn't seem to be what it used to be. For work i drive a vw caddy which seems to pull noticeably better than my car. And i don't know if i maybe i have just gotten used to the cars power and perhaps the van has more torque, or whether there is an underlying issue or something simple i need to do. Any advise/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

The second question, and completely unrelated to the first, is regarding my mport seats with the alcantara. I've a really annoying mark on one of them and i just want to know the best way to give them a good clean without ruining the finish?

Hi,

Power issue could be sooo many things. What is the production date? M47 or N47 engine? Manual or auto?

First port of call is to hook it up to INPA or ISTA-D and see what error codes are being thrown. That will give you a better idea.

With regards to seats, I'm afraid I haven't a clue. Maybe google a decent valet place?
