Yet another HPFP post!

Hey guys, first post for me. I purchased a 2007 335i coupe last September from a private party in San Diego. Car had 55k miles, had software 41.1 installed, 3 injectors, HPFP pump replaced at 37,500 miles. All has been great until last month (57.5k miles). i was driving on freeway, exited and car was running badly. No error messages,half engine display etc. Pulled over, shut car down, waited 30 seconds, restarted car, everything good. The last couple weeks, when i accelerate up a hill,half engine icon will light, car will stumble, service engine soon light sometimes comes on. I purchased a peake reader, it shows codes 29dc, and29f2. After reading through various sites, it seems like HPFP is bad or going bad. I have read that the HPFP is now guaranteed 10yrs or 120k. What is the best course of action, call ahead to a local dealer, just show up, get an independent shop involved, or? I certainly do not want to incur any out of pocket costs (car does not have extended Bmw service package). I live in Pasadena area, my nearest dealers are New Century in Alhambra, Bmw Monrovia, Bmw Glendale, any thoughts? Any help is appreciated, thanks, Mike

Call the dealership and schedule an appointment. The HPFP is still under warranty for your car.
