Lambda Codes????
I have ar downpipes and I used to run the DP fix for a couple years. I recently took it off and I keep getting the same lambda codes pop up. CEL with pre cat and 1 for behind cat. I delete them but they keep coming back.
I replaced my O2 sensors up front thinking maybe that was the issue and no luck. Any ideas? |

I believe you just need to enable auto clear with the jb4. I forget what codes you get with catless dps, but it will always throw a code unless you have the dp fix or enable auto clear. I dk if you have jb4 or not.

Yes I have a JB4. So this is normal? I should just do autocode clear?

so you changed out your 02 sensors already? It sounds like you might have the 02 sensors backwards, im throwing almost the identical codes, except mine are in bank 1, and im 99% positive the shop that did the install got the 02 sensors backwards. I have brand new 02 sensors, so I now mine aren't damaged unless the shop damaged them, but they assured me they were extremely careful. Im getting under the car this weekend to do just redo it myself, and ill get ya an update. I believe the codes for dps actually state, catless dp installed, or cats malfunctioning, or it wont say anything. Don't quote me on that, but I believe that's correct.

I am throwing lambda codes 2c32 and 2c2c all of a sudden after going fbo recently. The car ran fine for several weeks but now it throws these codes all of a sudden. Are these codes associated with the sensors on the downpipes or the ones on the manifold?

2C2C 2C2C Lambda probe in front of catalytic converter 2, system check Error will cause a warning light Error is currently present Test conditions have not been completed Short circuit or signal interruption 2C32 Lambda probe infront of catalytic converter 2, trimming control If I understand the message it means the o2 sensor on the short downpipe is bad, it's the one closest to the back turbo. I know when I changed my downpipes one of mine went bad all of a sudden. First thing is first just double check it's tightened all the way down first. If it is, then it's possible the O2 sensor is bad. Which sucks cause they cost about $185 each from orielys. Also, i guess it doesn't hurt to make sure you have the right o2 sensor in the right spot. I believe black is front turbo, grey is rear turbo.

is dpfix same as using jb4 auto clear? you shouldn't run autoclear when you have downpipes?

No dpfix is the rheostat that gets wired in to simulate the catalyst in the stock downpipes. It dampens the voltage to allow you to get readiness. The problem is it only uses one rear sensor signal to go to both banks this causes the other bank to get codes like the OP has. Auto clear is a decent way to deal with catless downpipes. The other way is to remove the code via flash when running a stack.
