Help with jb4 stage 2 n55
Hi everyone
I'm from sweden and i am new to this forum. I hope you could help me out with some questions about my jb4 stage 2 I have recently bought a 335 lci with the n55 engine and dct gearbox. The first mods i did on the car when i bought it is this: jb4 stage 2 BMS n55 catless downpipe vishnu charge pipe Active Autowerke sport intercooler And now i am running on map 5 and everything seems to be working good ! My questions for the jb4 is this: 1. If i'd like to run on 30% mix of e85. do i need to install the N55 Stage2 FlexFuel Wires and update the firmware to the iso beta firmware ? 2. Do i have to remove the diod from the jb4 stage 2 board if i want to go iso ? 3. Could anyone describe exactly what i need to do if i want to run with some e85 mixture for best result ? I'm very thankful if you could help me out, and i apologize for my bad english... ![]() |

have you been to the n54tech dot com website? There you can find N55 ISO firmware thread and it tells you step by step how to do it. Yes you have to cut the diod and then update it with the latest firmware. As far as your E85 questions I cannot help because Ive never ran E85. Best of luck! Hopefully someone will come in and better answer your question.

If you got your JB4 recently then it will already be an iso board. If not you will have to cut it and yes you need the flex fuel wires for an N55. I have mine at home and will be installing them after my next trip to the dealership.

- Going ISO is very easy and I haven't ran into any bugs yet - Personally, my car almost seems to run better with some E85 in the tank. Nothing you need to do though. Just leave it on Map 5 and do a couple of 3rd gear pulls. It makes a nice difference ![]() |

I'v heard that if you use 30/70 % mixture of e85/93 then its fine without the wiring kit, but if you want to run with 50/50 then you should probably install the wiring kit.... |
