ECS 335is clutch upgrade kit

I just want to double check to ensure that everything needed for a clutch install is included in this kit. My car is an 07 335i coupe 6MT

Proper clutch replacement

No , it does not contain everything you may need. You should first replace the rear main seal and output shaft seal while you are doing this work. You may also need a new double mass flywheel. You may want to upgrade to a bronze guide pin. Also, depending on mileage , you may want to replace the clutch slave and master cylinders and clutch pedal bushings if you want your car to feel better than new and no leaks. This is the proper text book way to replace the clutch if you want to do things the right way.

Nope you need 5 bellhousing bolts, as they are aluminum and get one time use.

The other items listed above are at discretion of owner if you are DIY. If your flywheel looks good, get it machined, if its burnt and feels really warped, buy a new one.

Yeah forgot to mention flywheel, haven't decided on a new fw yet.

I've never been told to replace the other components you listed in the past. I'll look into replacing them during the job.

Thanks

What about new guibo? I saw there's an updated part for pre-2010 models.

Part#2500955 on ecs site. Updated universal flex disc for the driveshaft, aka guibo
It was a recomended part when I replaced my 330ci clutch, I would think same is true for n54, hopefully someone can chime in.
