oil return line gasket priced too high?

I recently went in to the dealership to do a check up on an annoying oil leak that i couldnt find, they diagnosed it as the oil return line gasket and want to charge me a whoping 1134 dollars! Is this something relatively easy to do? Ive changed couple gaskets on my 335 like the ofhg and vcg, but since this seems harder to get to, i figure its more difficult, can anybody with any experience with this chime in, id aprreciate it...thanks in advance

Oil return line on the turbo? If yes then it is a pretty hard/time consuming job to do because of the tight space...

For a car that leaks everywhere the repairs sure are expensive. Turbo line gaskets, oil filter housing gaskets, main seal (which I can understand being expensive), valve cover gaskets all cost between $550-1300 at the dealer.

Looks like the most difficult part will be removing the dp to get access to the bank 2 oil return line...will tackle this on my next oil change

Check out the DP install vids for guidance.

You may have to move steering rack out of way to give good working room.
Sounds worse then it is though, just a couple E torx bolts and you can move it out of the way.

That's why I would never keep any German car out of warranty
