My headlight project (picture intensive)
Not a DIY but here are some pictures from my new headlights. I had pre-lci euro xenons and installed LCI xenon. I installed Umnitza rings and blacked out everything. Still need to align the headlights and fix the gap between headlights and hood. They have been installed for three weeks now. Hope you enjoy!
Notes: Used original sealant to seal. let them dry then used sealant on top of that. Took about 4 days only because I worked on them an hour here and there in between work. I coded them to work with my car. Yes, it was scary but worth it. Original headlights. One had broken projector inside. Into the oven.. my least favorite part. They are opened Sleeping with the angels... angel eyes glued with epoxy on top of original rings. sat for 24 hours. Also painted all housing black. Angel eye connection to low beam.. I wish I could have found a picture of this somewhere! Good job man- you have balls of steel my friend- I could never do that. You're in Florida, why not drive down to Luis @ OSS and have him do a set for you?

this is on my to do list.
questions: you use oven cus you didn't have heat gun, or was it easier to separate? why glue on top of old AE, is it possible to remove old AE and then place new LED AE in its place? Now that new AE is on top of old can it be seen when it was installed on car. how it look? thanks for your time |

If you don't glue on top of old angel eyes, there is nothing to hold them in place. There is another way to do it but requires more work. Can't really be seen when on the car unless you are looking for it. See this picture |
