Question Question: Will I lose all the function if I put a DVD Player on an E90?.

I have a E90 330 and would like to know that if I put on a DVD player single DIN to replace my OEM unit, will I still be able to adjust the time and will I lose my Volume button on my Steering Wheel? Can I buy a conversion kit or adapter in-order for me to keep those function? If there is a conversion kit or adapter, where can I buy them?

Please reply my post if anyone had an answer to these question!

Thank you

If you don't have the car now, who cares?

if you put an after market radio in you will lose your sterring wheel controls, but depending on the deck you can get them back with an add-on from a third party like sound-gate. Thats what i used with my Alpine deck, only thing is that if you have parking distance control that will not work anymore since it's controlled via the stock radio.

Will I be still able to adjust the time? Because the OEM deck is the only control that can adjust the time.

Anybody know where I can get that add on for my Alpine IVA-D900 so I can use my Volume button on Steering Wheel working again?

The only thing you lose by removing the stock radio is the ability to reset the gas mileage indicator, but you can see and make changes to time and such via the on-board computer in the instrument cluster on the dash.
