Strange BMS Catch Can Issue

So recently had the car walnut blasted and the valves were pretty dirty so as a preventative, I decided to install a BMS Catch Can. I also installed an RB PCV valve and new check valve at the same time.

My issue is that on the main line from the check valve to the can, there appears to be a leak? There is a film of oil the length of the entire line, it looks like oil spray. It's only on that line, not the return. It basically goes from end to end, but the weird thing is, there is no big drip by the check valve. Just oil spray on the hose itself. I pulled the hose to look inside and there is a little film (bought it used so it was always there). But the outside has more oil than inside the line.

This happened within 50 miles of install. Thought I did something wrong so I pulled the hoses, check them, cleaned them and reinstalled. Now another 100 miles and same film/spray. No other apparent oil leaks and weirdly the oil is very clean. Only 1000 miles since last oil change though.

Any ideas? Should I use hose clamps on the ends? They fit pretty well without them and instructions say not necessary. No kinks or collapses in the hoses and I cut the engine cover so the line wouldn't pinch.

Also, thought that with the RB PCV valve, there shouldn't be that much oil coming out that line anyways.

BMS OCC HERE - but really unnecessary (non-track)

I have done the same --I would check the routing and make sure you have the correct inlet / out correctly fitted. You should not need any clamps and unless you track - with the new RB Turbo Valve and new (flapper) check valve tube that runs from the VC into the OCC - you should not catch much more than a trace of oil unless you run crappy Grp III or less with high time OCI. However, a leaking VC Gasket can create & allow high pressures to build so I would also check for that as well.

Thanks, just pulled everything and reinstalled. It all looked fine, so will see if it comes back.
