anyone had walnut blasting covered under cpo?

My 09 has 56k miles and after reading some of the great comments about walnut blasting I want to get it done. I just recently bought the car and put in a cobb stage 1 aggressive tune. I feel like the throttle response is iffy sometimes and also that the engine has random vibrations sometimes when idling (almost like a misfire that lasts a split second), and i feel like this is more noticeable after the tune. I'm thinking maybe it's time for a walnut blasting as I'm assuming the previous owner never had it done.

I'm wondering if you all think that walnut blasting may be the solution to this and if anyone knows if it's possible to get this done under CPO?

hey babbagandu!, first of all congrats on the Cobb tune!, i guess thats an entry way drug into this mod world here! hahah.

well the answer really does depend on your dealer! If the dealer does notice the misfire and the rough idleing and really cant seem to fix it then yes they might consider the walnut blasting, ( had this done on my 750li), but regardless if they don't do it I highly recommend getting this done, however this is all IMO

The car will feel great after the walnut blasting and with over 50k miles on you N54 Its deff time to " get er done"! YMMV

They might, but only if there is a noticeable drivability issue.
Car has to be running rough with no apparent reason.
Typically heavy buildup will also cause intake valves not to fully close. This is where power loss comes from.

My car had a full upper rebuild do to leaky valve seals and buildup.
