yeah, it been nothing but shuffles for the BCS this year. competitions are stiff this year.

I would not hold my breath though. Both teams have 2 more games to play - one regular game and a conference title game. Looking at SEC (me being an SEC fan

), arkansas is not an easy team for LSU to get by and all it takes is 1 loss at this point and you are out!

I know none of you want to hear this but it wouldn't be out of the question for Ohio State to crawl back in it.

With the top 4 teams upcoming schedules I wouldn't be stunned to see the championship games be any combination of the top 8 teams. OSU is in the best spot cuz they no longer have a chance of losing.

I want to hear it. OSU got f'd being dropped from #1 to #7 with a 7 point loss to ranked team.

It was rather shitty. LSU didn't drop to 7th with their loss. Oh well, no one respects OSU no matter what they do.

Oh and Illinois wasn't ranked before the OSU game, but they were on the edge. They were prolly sitting 2-3 spots out of the top 25.

I'll tell you one thing. You sure as hell won't see Tressel out campaigning for OSU to be in the national title game. He has more class then that.

I think it is possible for them to come back and I do think they are better than some ahead of them.

As for whining...I am not sure I get your point about Mayer -- he whined then spankeg Tressels overrated ass up and down... If OSU did not score on that first return, it would have been 41:0... But 41:14 is also not too bad for the whining underdog...

EDIT: Ah, and the Gator's only loss last season was indeed to a ranked team much much much better than Illionois this year!... by a point

Ah yes. That was last year. This year, were it not for a dodged bullet at Ole Miss, the Gators would be looking at a 7-4 record right now. They did beat the piss out of Florida Atlantic High School this past Saturday though. Chomp-Chomp. If the Noles beat them this coming Saturday I will be LMFAO.

Forgive me, living in FL, I am just up to here with Gator fan after last year.

That is the beauty of SEC -- anyone can beat anyone.
On the other hand, OSU is up there...the rest of the conference is...nah...
And talking about High School Schedule -- Youngstown is way preschool than FAU, so is Akron, NW, Kent State, so better don't comment the schedules...

The beauty of the Big-Ten is anyone can beat anyone, thats been proven for decades....

The Big-Ten conference as a whole took a shit the past 2-3 years, yet theres still always a consistent 3-4 teams. No one says anything about the 2-3 terrible teams in BOTH divisions of the SEC, making about 4-6 bad teams. Again cuz the sun shines the SEC's asses

We've went over the schedule thing to death already. EVERYONE plays bad teams, thats the life of college football. Some years the schedule is tougher then others. But you must always remember that the schedule was made many years in advance and only minor changes are made coming into the season if any and no team has much of a say, it's the conference and the NCAA's decision. OSU played Texas 2 years in a row when they were a solid team. The next 2 years their playing USC. It's not like they hand picked Youngstown or any other teams just to make a run at the title

. So can we please get off the schedule junk?

Also lets not forget that this year was supposed to be considered a rebuilding year for OSU. But here they are sitting with a chance to play in the title game. It just shows the amount of depth OSU has in its talent pool. Kids from all over the country want to go play for a power house school and guess what OSU is one of them. SO unfortunately for everyone else OSU's supposed "rebuilding years" still means their going to kick a lot of ass. Get use to it cuz it's not going to stop any time soon.
