Anyone have any info or reviews on the new Hankook Ventus v12 evo2?

I can't imagine anyone's tried them yet. Just last week they weren't even up for sale.

Sucks I just bought my Evo's.

They look promising! Hopefully the sidewalls are a bit stiffer than the Ventus V12s.

Yea the original version had sidewalls made of marshmallow.

For cheaper performance tires, S-Drives have always treated me well enough. Hardly an exceptional tire, but reasonably compliant, grippy, and quiet.

I just ordered a set of evo2 for the front, the rear are still on evo k110. I hope the new k120 are better than the k110 since they are a newer design.

Let me know what you think... Your car might have some weird behavior with two different tires.

Any additional feedback on these tires would be helpful

Do you have any opinion on the sidewall stiffness?

My front was on vredestein ultrac sessanta before,
and they have a totally different tread pattern compared to the hankook.
But my car drove fine, or just that I couldn't tell the difference
so I may not be able to tell the differences between the hankooks.

Picture above is the vredestein tread pattern, I personally think they look awesome lol

The new K120 tread pattern looks a lot more similar to the K110 than the vredestein.
The tires will be mounted next Monday(4/7), I will write an update here.

Looks like the Evo2 are a bit pricier.

Interesting. I know a full set is about $100 more expensive from DTD.

There is also an $80 mail in rebate currently being offered. It would be nice to get a professional review before I pull the trigger

I took a gamble and ordered a set of 4 K120s from discount tire direct for a very good price!

I am ordering a set and price is the same for both. Which Evo1 or Evo2 performs better and have harder side walls?

One is a 2-3 year old designed tire, the other just came out and has no reviews yet. Which do you think will be better? 3 year old technology or current

Honestly we'll have to wait until more reviews of them pop up. It's a brand new tire!

Mine arrived today, I think they look quite good. And I went for the stock 1 series sizes and the fronts look quite good for 215s.
