Been looking hard into the bavsound speaker upgrade and possibly the ghost sub. Anyone on here have either of these more interested in the speakers are they really that much better? I'm pretty satisfied with the stock speakers for the most part.

If you have Hi Fi changing the amp out makes the biggest
difference.

Which of the three BMW systems you have has a lot to do
with what works best.

You have the Hi-Fi. The Premium or Logic7 as it was called for pre-LCI has a center speaker on top of the dash and mids in each of the back doors (sedan).

I don't have mids on back doors just the rear deck

I own an 2011 335is with the HK Logic7 system. I finally took the plunge and did the BSW Stage One upgrade and was thrilled with the sound except for when I turned it up at a high level and the underseat woofers started clipping. I finally replaced the underseat woofers with the Earthquake SWS8's and at first rode around for weeks unhappy with the sound, no matter how much tuning I did and even changed amps but the sound was just not right, until.... I changed the phase on one of the subs...... NOW I am THRILLED with the sound!!!!!
