Cool, the only reason I haven't taken it off yet is I am still waiting on my diffuser by next week, waiting on a vendor to ship my tips. What I can possibly do is have the shop tac weld a small bar between the exhaust pipe tips to keep them aligned while the muffler is cut off. I am debating if I will include the y-pipe or not. But to make it more aggressive, you're in FL I don't think you have emissions testing do you? Remove your 2ndary cats and resonator with straight pipe. That way you have more exhaust burple and bass. There is some already on my current set up but the 2ndary cats are in the way to give it it's full sound.

There might be a place for emission testing id have to look it up. But i would also have to change the rear bumper? To the oem 335?

The diffuser is from jgmods and it fits oem and replica bumpers. The diffuser came with the bumper. I don't know any DIY links, just go to an exhaust shop and they'll do it.

But in my experiences, cheap mufflers reduces rasp, I have used this muffler magnaflow muffler http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000CC...ls_o00_s00_i00 with 2 different midpipes and it does reduce rasp. You only need to buy 1 muffler with 2 outlets, 1 inlet, the exhaust shop will know what to do with the rest, and buy exhaust tips of your preference. I would do a straight pipe exhaust first then you can play with the muffler. Go loud first, then tone it down later. |
