hi im wanting to upgrade from the base system and put aftermarket speakers i dont want to spend too much i cant seem to find many speakers that will fit in the car in the uk. i would like to get door speakers and set of tweeters i have connected a 12inch sub so i wouldnt need underseat subs. also im wondering if i upgrade doors speakers will i have to upgrade parcel shelf ones aswell or will the car sound ok with just changing the front speakers?

You can change the front speakers you will also need an amp.

First you need to figure out what system you have. Do you have tweeters, or a center speaker on the dash?

I replaced my front speakers with focal IFBMW-S direct plug and play kit and it's a massive improvement in sound quality. They are a bit pricey though but well worth the money. I have left the rears as standard for now however I will upgrade those too in the summer.
