Have been searching a bit and it seems that non idrive cars may still have a gps antenna built in to the shark fin. Can anyone confirm if this is true, and if so where i would be able to connect to it.

I very much doubt it! You'll either have to drop the headliner to see if it has a gps connector or remove the fin!

I doubt it too. These antennas are not exactly dirt cheap so BMW won't waste money by putting them in cars that don't require them.

Total bull! Why would bmw put in a GSP fin & run a cable to the boot?

I've taken my car apart a number of time & not found any random wire / connector!

Yea i didnt think it sounded right but u never know. Think ill have a look just to make sure. Done a bit more searching and the box should be just behind rear seats under floor lining
