Replacement Clutch Help and Recommendation

I have done a little research on replacing the clutch on my 335I and I am looking for any recommendation on which Clutch people recommend and have experience using, I have read where some people ran into issues with the clutch plate fusing to the flywheel for various reason and other minor issues.

There is no DIY help on the forum which is kind of surprising since out all the car Forums I have been a part of this one has a large list of DIY with lots of good information

My 07 335I is well out warranty and maintenance coverage so I am doing all the work now. The car has 86K on the original clutch, as you can guess I did not beat on the clutch and it was my daily commute car. Going forward I am thinking of autocrossing and taking it to track days and want a little more performance other than the stock. Therefore, I am thinking about a stage 2 clutch.

Here are few clutches and pressure plates I have come across, I have no experience with these manufactures, the products or companies selling the product. I am looking for other's insights on the companies, how are they to work with if you have questions or concerns. Also how did the product hold up, did it live up to their claims and your expectation. Usually I would not go to this length and seek out lots of opinion and inputs, however, since this is going to be a weekend job on my back on the floor of my garage I do not want to put something in only to find out there are issues and the company is a nightmare to deal with.

For those who did their own clutches, any words of wisdom or helpful hits which was not covered in the above video. Remember I am going to be working on my back so it is not going to be a fun weekend. I have done clutches before but they was on older Muscle type cars and those are easy compare to a BMW.

Some of the clutches state they are Stage two and list the Torque Rating, others do not provide this information therefore I am not sure what I am buying.

Some of these kits show the alignment tool, again this is something I never had to deal with and I am tool that all non-OEM clutches come with the alignment tool, is this true?

On the subject of Flywheel, what is people recommendation, base on how I have been driving the car I do not expect the Flywheel to be trashed, In the past we would just hit it with some sand paper to get rid of the shin, unless their were marks then I would send it out to be resurface. I am not sure I want to spend $1000 on a new flywheel at this point. But I have not seen anyone say that the BMW flywheel can be resurfaced. Again anyone have experience with this.

Many people say : don't reuse rock flywheel, replace either with a new stock or go single mass flywheel. It all depends how much power you are putting out. I JUST bought a spec stage 2+ with steel single mass flywheel. I am fbo with jb4 and meth. Some people say the stock flywheel can't hold as well as a single mass even when new. They say never ever ever ever resurface a dmfw. People also say you may hear a little chatter when going to smfw. I have seen a lot of people gettig spec clutches and are very satisfied with the results. Pm me if you have any other questions that I may be able to answer

For what it's worth...I recently changed my clutch while it was out to replace the DMF. I was thinking about ditching the DMF for conventional and the multi plate clutch (mine's manual BTW). But several people whose opinions I trust, reported nasty stories of serious engine damage when using conventional clutch/flywheel combos, due to vibrations normally absorbed by the DMF, being transmitted to the engine.
