DME repair

Does anyone know where I can purchase the diodes for the DME. Or if there's a trust worthy shop that I can ship my DME to?

That is the DME repair thread. I'm assuming your transistor is shorted not a diode. But pretty much any good electronics shop should be able to do the fix.

Same thing happened to me. I wanted to go to an electronics shop because the dme is expensive. But honestly when you hve it in front of you, you'll see it isnt that difficult.

Fyi my dumb mechanic did it for me. Removed old transistor... Replace with new one.
The above thread has a diagram that labels the transistor u need to change for whatever misfire code you're getting.
GoodLuck!

I opened up the DME and it doesn't look the same as the one that Roy has on he's car.

I have a 09 135 and it doesn't seem to have the parts in the same place.

Is it possible that they fixed that issue in later years of production ? Also Roy was able to open over the other half of the DME and I can't seems to be stuck together. There are 6 diodes but I can't get to them.

The 6 along the top edge are your mosfetts you need to check them with a multi meter as per the thread or replace all 6. I would check them to ensure that is your issue though. What codes did you have?
