What PS3 or Xbox 360 Game Should I Get??

call of duty 4
assasins creed
kane and lynch (sp?)
bioshock
mass effect
uncharted

please dont limit your opinions to what i have listed above!

which one do you think i should get and why??

(i like games with good stories, not just pretty graphics!)

x10 on call of duty 4.. Then assin creed.. Never been a fan of need for speed its unrealistic..

CoD4 only if you have LIVE.

Assassin's Creed and Mass Effect are the best imo. GH3 is more of the same, but still fun. Seriously though, Assassin's Creed is like my fav 360 game.

I haven't played CoD4 or Assassin's Creed but I'm considering them. My bro has them both and recommends them.

CoD4 = XBL and multiplayer so there's a H3 alternative for you
Assassin's Creed = heard great things, open environment, gameplay, side missions, no XBL though, just achievements... if you liked Prince of Persia then you'll like this

I own BioShock and I loved it. It was a refreshingly new storyline for me with a classic feel, great voice acting and music and it offered 2 endings. I really had fun with this game... BUT, to be honest, it did get repetitive after awhile and the only way to keep it fresh was for you, the player, to just try different tactics and plasmids etc. And pitting it up against the other games you mentioned I would have to say get one of the others since there's no XBL on this either and the replay value isn't much once you play it once or twice if you are determined to get all the achievements and see both endings. Not to say it's a bad game, far from it, but you might want to just rent it or borrow it from a friend rather than own it.

Im in the same dillema, got a 60 dollar gift card from two friends for my birthday and need to figure out what game I want. My cousin has CoD4-loves it, he gets just about every game, but im not sure which to get. Assasins creed is not my type but Ive heard great things about Kane and Lynch?

Go rent them first if your stuck on your decision. All games are repetitive...not sure why reviewers keep harping on AC about that as a such a big downside?

I'll go out and say Mass Effect. Bioware puts out some amazing games and their story-telling continues to improve more and more. If you're not a big online player, this is a better way to go. Lots of hours for single player in this game.

My cousin and friends have bioshock and have both raved about how good the storyline is. I personally have never played it, but i think i'll get it for xmas. If it were me, it would be between that and call of duty 4. They both look mad fun to play, so i don't think you could go wrong.

Bioshock is a good one no doubt (just needed more enemies, felt i was killing the same guy each time). Kept me glued to the tv for many hours.

Just buy it already. The port from PC was perfect, HL2 is the best game ever made, HL2 episodes 1 and 2 were better, Portal was engaging and clever with the best ending song of any game ever. TF2 is smart and funny - with amazing visuals and team play.
