Since the scales were different on almost every graph, I went ahead and made them the same. It's a little jumbled, but here is every car.
In short, the E46 M3 CSL was the slowest car here, the 335i PROcede v2 is faster than the E92 M3, and the 997 Turbo and M6 (except for an unexplained brief dip between 7-11 seconds) owned all.

M6 Driver
The speculation from an M6 driver of a different airfield event, that this M6 driver hit the rev limiter and didn't realize it for a couple of seconds.
So, yes, someone misshifted on a SMG! If he didn't misshift, looking at the data, the M6 may have been faster than the 997TT....(looking at the slope of the acceleration curve)

Thank you, nice graphs.What you dont´t see is the advantage in the powerband he 335 have, when we where starting in 50km/h the motor was running att app. 3000rpm where i had a lot of torque availible, that diidn´t seems to be the case with the other cars,so i almost did get an advanatge with 1-2 cl in gears 2 and 3. they had problems to catch up until app 200 km/h.

Very interesting. We should expect the V2 335i to jump ahead of the M6 / 997TT for a couple of seconds. Someone actually did the torque multiplication of the 335i's gearing and predicted this. The dip in the M6 acceleration curve was actually the M6 losing satellite.....so yes, the M6 outran the satellites. The V2 335i in all cases is faster than the E92 M3. Looking at the curves, I would predict the 335i getting ahead and it would stay ahead of the M3 but it won't walk the M3 like the M6 will walk the V2 335i (since the M3 and v2 335i curves have almost the same slopes). Wow, I would not have expected the M6 to kill the E92 M3 by so much. I mean, you can see it in the graph, but it's more impressive to see it in the video.

These videos make the exact point of why, in the REAL world (not an airstrip) the V2 Proceded 335i is so devastatingly quick. The torque allows the car to pull hard from any RPM at any speed. So In the lower gears (1-3) where the RPMs drop more after each shift the torque is there and waiting in the next gear to keep accelerating hard. The low-torque, high revving engines can use short gearing and torque multiplication to take advantage of this type of power, but at real world speeds it cannot make up for the torque advantage of the V2 I-6 TT.
Even on a racetrack where most cars spend the majority of their time in 3rd gear, with occational use of 2nd and 4th gear, the torque advantage of the 335i would still be a huge asset since, when exiting a corner the revs start somewhere in the midrange and rise toward the redline at the exit. The torque helps accelerate in the midrange and exit the corner faster. Only in the 4th-6th gears, which are tightly spaced (esp 5th and 6th gear - only 13% separate them) do the revvers really take advantage of the gearing and revs advantage (you see this when the M6 races the E55 AMG. The M6 does not pull away until it is in 4th gear and the gearing and extra few HP help it to pull away). The way to make the M3, M5 and M6 really take advantage of the revs would be to put in a shorter final drive ratio to help get the car into its higher (and more closely spaced gears) sooner and provide even more torque multiplication that they need.
