window tinting

I was looking at window tint and I found a website that sells precut Tint for any car and I found the ceramic tint for cheaper them it would to have someone install. I was wondering of anyone here has done there own tint and how hard they thought it was and what is the process of it any help will be fine

+1.

I've done titn before, but I decided to let the guy that has the machine to perfectly cut the tint do it.

My windows look great two years later and have a lifetime guarantee on peeling/lifting and discoloring.

the website claims its pre cut and ready to install. all i have to do is clean the window and apply water and soap solution and it should be simple to instal and i mean regular tint is 25 to 60 dollars for all windows and ceramic is 120. i think its a good price so i think I'm going to try it and see my luck, plus it has lifetime warranty

Your car, your money.

I'm a DIY kinda guy myself, but I paid to have my tint installed.

I recently got my car tinted. A formula one tint, which is guaranteed for the life of the car and which I have used on several cars without issue, was $149 installed. If you can afford it, I suggest getting it professionally installed. There are lots of things you can do for DIY, but tint is not one of them.

This is not like wrapping your car, you need some certain skills for tinting.

Yup, this. Tint is typically the first thing I do with a new car. I DIY a lot of things but this isn't one of them. Tint is one of the cheaper things you can do.

Dont do it. It's the worst DIY you can do for a beginner. I tried it and ruin my tint. They sell them pre cut, but sometimes you have to shrink it using a heat gun which has to be done with a lot of patience I had to take it off and had it done professionally. Ended up paying twice.

Oh and another thing don't think that if you buy it and decide to have someone do it for you will save you money. I tried that and they either refused to do it or charged me 40 bucks cheaper

I was thinking same and I was very determined and I failed
let the tint professional do it for you, in my opinion this is not worth DIY
My 2 cents
