Cool E90 LCI Halogen Angel Eye Install (E92-Lighting.com)

Here today I'm installing E92 lighting's 40w CREE LED AE upgrade on my 2010 E90 LCI. I thought to myself, there has to be an easier way to install them without removing the wheels and fender liners so I went to the tool box to find something crafty. My flexible bit driver like the one pictured below!

Here's the covers that hide the AE bulbs. On the drivers side just remove the air box, so easy.

Drivers side with airbox removed:

Passenger side (cover back on, nothing removed):

A few minutes later, giving it a test with the welcome lights on, coded to also turn on the fog lights:

Final product (car coded angel eye's as DRL):

Enjoy! They are really really bright!

Looks nice but too bright. Just my opinion .

What do u mean by coding? Using some harness? I just bought daeos angel eye harness for the long weekend project.

Your car is built in 2009, you don't need a harness or to touch a single wire. Please return that daeos angel eye harness and do not cut or touch a single wire on your car. It's built into the car to run the angel eyes as daytime running lights, you just need to turn that feature on with a computer hooked to the OBD2 port. Post up in your regional section who "codes" and have them turn that feature on. Takes literally 1 minute to make a 2009+ E90 have the angel eyes as daytime running lights.

BMW's have a shit ton of features and things you can customize in their computers. It's called coding, because you're changing the computer's code. Since everything is computer controlled, it's amazing what you can do with the car. I edit my car with the Android app "BMWhat" and with a $10 bluetooth adapter.

I have the same setup for angels eyes as Riick since some days ago.
I am extremly happy with the bulbs and the service I got from E92-lighting, they also shipped it very fast overseas for me. Moreover I also coded my angels eyes to DRL

Recommended!

Yeah, it only took a couple days to get really fast shipping!!! Can't wait to see your new products. I'm also considering ordering your LED interior light kit. Are there any options for the front LCI turn signals and fender lights?
