Has anyone else seen, met, or even know a celebrity personally? I know they’re just like everyone else. But seeing them off screen is pretty cool. Here are few pics.

shook hands with Nolan Ryan - I also played tennis on his tennis courts (I have a picture just in case anyone wants to see me at 17 years old wearing socks up over my calves like a boss lol)...

shook Josh Beckett's hand - he was standing with two hot chicks who wanted a picture with him. I called him "Mr. Beckett" HAHA !!!! we're the same freaking age.

I actually hit against him in high school during an out of district tournament - he made us look like a bunch of blind t-ball players...

shook Marcus Allen's hands at Reliant Stadium in 2005 when I had field passes to the Texans and Patriots - lost on a last second FG....

walked up to him, asked him how he was doing, he stuck out his hand for a handshake and said "good, and you ??" I said "good", got scared and walked away LMFAO......

oh, shook hands with Booker T (wrestler) in 2002 - he was in Kroger wearing a silk shirt and khaki shorts - dude looked like he had never been a part of leg day for his whole life HAHA !!!

I walked up to him as he was exiting the doors and said "sir, SIR" he turns around and says "yeah".

I said "you wouldn't happen to be the person I think you are, are you ??" he looked at me, smiled and said "yeah, I'm Booker T".

he shook my hand - it was probably like Shaq shaking a newborn's hand.....

on a much lesser note, I got to meet Jennifer Reyna and take a picture with her back in 2009 - she's a SMOKING HOT news anchor here in Houston...

she was "featured" at one of our United Way Events for the Engineering Contractor I used to work for.....

I was with Wifey at Book Expo (NYC) one year standing out of the stream of people in the exhibit hall while Wifey did her thing and I started BS'ing with this scruffy dude in a black T-shirt that said Woz on it. We were talking about how much the flow of people in the aisles was like water and how one person stopping in the middle can create so much turbulence.

Then someone with a big video rig and lights came up and pointed them at me. I was like, WTF? Then I realized it was the guy I was talking with who they wanted. It was Steve Wozniak promoting his book, which was of course titled Woz.

last UFC event in Houston, probably @ February.

I walked up to Chael Sonnen at Vic and Anthony's in downtown...

reached out, touched his shoulder and whispered "welcome to Houston"...

he turned, stuck his hand out, we shook and the first thing he said was "you smell delicious"...it was Versace Him...

anyways, I apologized for the ugly weather and that it's usually beautiful this time of year and "not 100+ degrees".

he said "I'm from Oregon, so I'm used to the cold rainy days"...

told him that I was with my wife and that I enjoyed his attitude towards everything UFC and walked off....

dude was the only person in the place wearing a tight t-shirt, jeans and tennis shoes HAHA !!!!

his freaking traps were almost touching his ears - but his arms were super tiny.....

but he was very engaging and didn't mind the small talk....

I live in SoCal, too many to list, but here are a few I remember vividly.

- Saw Kobe at Fashion Island with Vanessa. He was eating at the same place I was, getting out of the Red Range Rover. As I pass by, he's talking to 2-3 fans, and I see him and give him a head nod, and he waves back then continues talking with his fans. But for the most part people were trying to give him his space and being respectful.

- Met Paul Walker at Cars & Coffees back in 2007 with a modded out E36 M3 (suspension, lip, everything). Sad that a guy basically in his prime got cut down so early by some foolishness. His friend should have known better. RIP.

- Jamie Lee Curtis at charity event in LA for Children's Hospital. She was the only one I got to chat with since her table was close to mine, but there were dozens of other celebs out there (Iron man Robert Downey Jr, Ron Artest aka Metta World Peace, Seal the singer with Heidi Klum to name a few).

Also in my everyday life, Magic Johnson literally shops at the same Gelson's I do, and lives only a few miles away from where I currently live. Bette Midler owns a home down the street, Kevin Costner owns a home in the city. Tom Cruise owns a home in Nellie Geil Ranch.

I was playing in a pick up ice hockey game at Chelsea Piers.. it was no checking but people were checking anyway.. i laid out this guy who had at least 20lbs & 4" on me.. he was skating with his head down and i blew him up in the open ice.. so hard that it knocked me back as well.. i get up, ask him if he's okay and lend him a hand to help him up and he goes "fuck you".. i laugh and skate away

later on in the locker room my friend says to me, dude, you laid out Tim Robbins..

Saw Joan Rivers in the airport at SFO a month or so ago. She was 5' tall, wearing a full length fur coat and she looked like a plastic doll.

When Chris Andersen (Birdman) still played for the Nuggets I would see him every few days at the gas station or supermarket as he lived in the same small suburb of Denver as I do.

Saw John Legend in the airport in Jamaica when our flight home was delayed. He was very cool and posed for photos with everyone waiting at the gate. Then he headed off and chartered his own plane home while the rest of us were stranded for 6 hours.

Hung out with Shaun White in the United lounge at LAX during a layover.
