Led question

Does anyone know where I can get a 5W5 (194) led that will not throw an error code? I want to replace those 5W5 next to the high beam. I know you could wire a resistor/cap to get rid of the error, but I don't want to do that, just wondering if it is possible with just a led replacement.

The wattage is different for the halogen bulb compared to the LED. There isn't any LED bulb in the market that won't throw a code. You HAVE to use a resistor. Plus, it would look weird with the halogen low beams and high beams.

Thanks. I guess blue color 194 is the only way to color match.

As I said, you can always run a pair of resistors (just like you would for the turn signals). These are exceptionally bright for turn signals or city lights:

Well, I don't expect a bare led would work, but would any of those 194 they sell in auto shops that has 4/6 leds work? I mean, some of them has resistor inside them, would that work as if you wired your own resistor?

Hmm..... that's a good question. I don't know the answer to that one, but I can tell you that those 4-6 LEDs in one does not produce much light. It's better not to use them.
