CF Mirrors and CF diffuser insert added

Been wanting to change my oval tip for a while. So ordered some CF tips from cyba and got a them a local exhaust specialist to fit them. Gave the garage some pics of a 330 exhaust to keep it OEM looking. Pleased with the results. Just need to get my performance spoiler fitted now.

Looks nice, i think SSDD carbon fibre inserts for the bumper would finish it off

Wow!! Looks uber sexy. Never seen the carbon tips in that arrangement. Only ever seen them on 335 arrangements. Like it a lot!

They are nice. Bet they are much easier to keep clean than chrome tips.

Are they welded onto the original back box? Any pics from underneath to see how they fit on? They look good I'm very interested in doing this to my 320d.

Tips I got from Cyba they were roughly £100, then the exhaust garage charged £140 but that included a brand new back box as they couldn't work with the original one. They did say they would happily fit a 330 back box if i sourced one and put my tips on that way. However that would have worked out more and im fitting an old back box, whereas this is all new and i get a warranty with the work.

Thanks, ever since i saw the carbon tips on the cyba thread, I thought they looked nice and had to get them ordered. I wanted to keep my performance diffuser so decided to go for a 330 style.

Mine is the older 320d where the back box is at 45 degrees. He could of used one of his Y sections with tips on the end but I wanted something a little different. Due to the length of the Cyba tips, plus making a custom Y section with little room and the fact the bore sizes is funny doesn't help.

There are plenty of twin tips made with Y sections which can be welded on but I wanted the CF ones which are individual single tips. Plus I didn't want anything which looked like it was bought from halfords.

Added my CF mirrors and the CF insert for my performance diffuser. I had been looking for ages for some genuine CF mirrors for my pre-LCI but they are very hard to find, as i was buying some bits from SSDD i decided to try them out.

As my car is le mans blue and there were a couple of places where the covers didnt go over my existing mirrors, i decided to get some cheap covers already primed and sprayed them black.

These cost about 5 times less than the real ones and i have to say im pretty chuffed with how they came out and the fit.
