bmw wastegate software fix - lag

Just wondering if there is any way to remove the bmw wastegate rattle fix (holding the gate open at idle). Does bmw have better updates to reduce lag, or any body else for that matter?

I think everything is ok with vac lines, car runs well, and boosts good, but I think I will check them anyways. I have since done some more research and it seems there is updated bmw software to decrease the lag brought on by bmw "gate rattle fix". Just wondering those of you who had the 29.2 software and got the updated no lag/less lag version (not sure what software revision) did you notice a big difference?

I was forced to get the new software (3 weeks ago) when I got new turbos. They said they would replace them under warranty as long as I paid for the software update. I honestly feel no difference. I never had my software updated in a long time. So I have no idea what version I had before but I assume it was an old one. Idk if this helps. But I feel no lag. My jb4 is off right now so it just feels slow to me in general at the moment lol.

I got a new DME in Nov 2013 so I think I have the updated software, I can hear them spool up right off the bat (stock)

Is there a way to update this software ourselves through INPA perhaps? or similar software?
