EGR Block Off Plate - Reset Tool Suggestions
Hi Guys,
For those of you now resetting your codes every startup, which is the simplest tool for the job. I have seen two on Bav Auto for doing this job. I would also like the tool to be able to reset the oil change interval. BlueDriver - Bluetooth scan tool Launch CReader OBD-II Engine Fault Code Reader and Reset Tool Any feedback is appreciated.

The point for myself is that I already have my DDE flashed with the Evolve tune and have no interest in getting another when I may possibly only have this car for another year before getting an X4 35D.

I leave my bms CANtool plugged in all the time. Its not real powerful as a scanner but it is really convenient to just be able to reach down and press a button for a second. Also makes the process pretty much invisible to passengers

Where are you guys getting the block off plate from? I saw these on ebay
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/EGR-Valve-...item4ac740d4c6 doesn't list the 335d. Wondering if will fit. |

![]() In any case we can probably come up with a solution to remove it if you are set on it. |

It's about 4.5 lbs of saved weight. Out in front of the axle and fairly high. With the engine cover on the bypass isn't noticeable at all. However, if you would've had your kit available before I went down that path ... I would maybe still have the cooler in place. |

Is BMWhat able to clear the long term MIL code stored? I borrowed a friends generic just to see if it could clear codes. It can clear the instant code, but not the stored code so the light stays on. The light doesn't really bug me, but once in a while it would be nice on a long trip to be able to clear the long term code that is stored. Thanks
