need amp for german maestro 8 inch woofers?

I've searched all day but cannot find anyone who's has just replaced under seat woofers in Dirac system with German maestro 8 inch woofers. What amp would be the best? What other parts do I need for the install? Amp is just to drive the 8 inch woofers

I would think an ARC Audio ks300.2 would be perfect for this application.

I'll be using a Alpine PDX F6. I'll update once I actually do the install...hopefully within the next few weeks.

Are you running 150w into each 8 inch woofer? I'm guessing with that amp your running your speakers and a sub in addition to the 8 inch woofers? I still can't find whether 150w is enough to drive these 8 inch woofers if we are using them for 60hz -200 or so as I don't and won't have a dedicated Sub. Anyone else offer some info that may help me? Thinking w 2 channel amp with 200w per channel to drive each woofer makes more sense than 150w

The PDX f6 is a 4 channel amp, it would give you 300watts per channel at 4ohms if you bridge it. Either amp would be a good choice, but I would rather have the extra headroom from the more powerful amp.

Wouldn't 300w be too much power being sent to speaker bridged?

I actually asked German Maestro directly since their packaging vs woofer state different figures. 150w is actually what they recommend. But even with 90 you'll get decent SPL (the tech even said with 30w it'll be decently loud without distortion - I guess they're supposedly that efficient). I'll find out real world results soon.

No harm in running more power = more headroom, less clipping.
