Problems with AHL Xenon Headlights in AUTO after e90 LCI conversion.
I recently did a pre-LCI to LCI headlight conversion on my e90 335i (02/2007 build). My car originally came with AHL Xenons with FRM1 footwell module and I converted to AHL LCI Xenons and updated to FRM2 footwell module (FRM2 was coded to my VIN). Servo motors and everything internally looks to be intact and nothing looks broken.
Problem: The passenger headlight will not aim properly when headlight switch is in AUTO. Drivers side appears to function properly. Passenger side aims OPPOSITE as direction of steering wheel (ex. turn steering wheel clockwise/right, passenger headlight aims to the left). FRM errors: A8AF and A8AE Questions: 1. Could the AHL ballasts be defective and causing this? 2. Could the FRM2 module be defective and causing this? 3. Could coding cause/solve this? 4. Anyone have any similar experiences? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Last edited by m1ka; 05-02-2014 at 06:27 PM.. |
