Show foam / jet wash question
Alright guys, I'm in the market for a new jet wash for my daily cleaning of the car ( as alpine white is a b*itch to keep clean).
Iv always been intrigued and wanted to get a snow foam one where I can just bathe it that white snow stuff (looks cool) But when it comes to buying I can't find no where trust. As all you trusty members can help me pick as I have no clue Looking for a nice system so recommend me something |

Get onto Detailing world mate. Autobrite etc do some amazing deals and people swear by them. Karcher / Nisfilk also offer decent pressure washers... depending on what you're after really. I'll be in the market for one, and looking at the Nisfilk c.120 .. small but powerful enough for me...

I really rate the Nilfisk jet wash. When researching what to buy,the main names such as Karcher etc were very popular as they've flooded the market, but had really bad long term reviews due to the poor quality of their components.Nilfisk use metal components which last the test of time.
I've had the same one for over five years and it's never let me down. I combined this with an Autobrite snow foam lance and that's worked perfectly too. They always have combo deals on the go,such as http://www.autobritedirect.co.uk/ind...oam-combo.html Get a grit guard, large micro fibre towel and a couple of cheap buckets from Wickes (and a free weekend!) and you should be on your way! |

Lance:
http://www.directhoses.net/products/snow-foam-lance £27 delivered off Ebay. Snow foam: http://car-chem.com/store/group-buys £14 delivered In regards to a pressure washer it depends what your budget is. I've got a Kranzle but they're not cheap. As mentioned above, you'll still need to clean the car by hand after.

I use the Autobrite HD Snow Foam lance with Magifoam and it's brilliant. The group buy deal is still going; see here:
http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/foru...d.php?t=183611 I use it with my Karcher K5.80 and it's perfect. Here is mine after 10 mins or so dwelling:

Thank you so much guys I'm deffo ordering ... Heard the auto brite stuff is really good (after research )
As for jet wash it self thinking of opting for " karcher or nilfisk " due to ease of finding nozzles which for for snow foam Ok one thing what scared me .... So I would have to sponge wash the car after ?? Therefore what's the actual use of doing the snow foam process ????? |

I also use elite car care, Alex and his wife own the place and they are experts always willing to help, it's local to me so am always popping in and seeing the cars they are working on! Good to support an independent company too especially when the customer service is good!

Firstly, sponge????? No!!!!!! Snow foam is used to remove the large parts of grit and dirt and leaves a very fine silt still on the paint unfortunately, you will definitely notice with a white car. Snow foam onto a dry car (I use foam and also "surfex HD" mixed with water in the lance) Wait for it to soak a little Pressure wash off Two bucket method with a MITT not sponge Then rinse off and dry with a plush large towel |
