P3cars integrated vent gauge pod

Has anyone used this setup on their diesel? If so, any positive reviews using it. http://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-22...i-335i-m3.aspx

I thought these weren't compatible with our diesels?

I emailed them and they said "It does boost , coolant temp, intake temp, uncorrected speed , rpm , shift light, 0-60, batt voltage, code read and reset … we have a few hundred D cars running the gauge. Like I said , at some point there may be an update that brings EGT but diesels don't even have a throttle plate or ignition so obviously those two items wouldn't be part of the mix. Most people just use it for Boost, batt voltage and 0-60 so we just haven't heard that much from users that EGT is missed. I know some people have used the 0-5 v to monitor EGT on that platform as well.
Cheers,
Tim "

The gauge is awesome and in my opinion is a must have if you own a turbo car or a diesel for that matter, I use it all the time to monitor my egt temps I never shut the car down during REGEN because I can tell when it is happening, I like the 0-60 and 0-100 mph timer, plus it works as an obd2 sensor and can clear and show codes, it has a memory for all your functions, it monitors water temp air egt temp battery volts, rpm, speed, throttle position, ignition timing and looks so OEM in the vent pod, I love mine...

No pic needed- egt would be great! How did you get update-or was it a recent purchase? Also does your throttle read correctly? The scale is off on mine. Goes from 20 to l100 with the slightest throttle application.

I just found out that they are trying to release all the updates by july, mine has some updates which it is a test gauge for p3c, hence why others do not read all the setting, honestly without being able to read egt I think the gauge is extremely overpriced, it is really the only setting I need and use all the time... do you have a throttle booster on your car sometimes those will trip the reading, mine reads accurate in throttle position but I rarely use it, p3c will help you with their gauge they are great guys to deal with...

The vent pod is overpriced with the new blutooth apps out, they waited to long to get it right and now have been passed up by newer better technology, sorry Pc3 gauge...
