Hello y'all
Been on this forum for a while now just stalking n looking for parts n ideas never really introduced myself my name mike I'm 22 from liverpool, first car was a mk4 golf that I upgraded to full gti spec, after a few years I bought a Passat 140 tdi sport which I upgraded nav wheels and flat bottoms gti steering wheel and xenons, Then I bought my first BMW 57 plate 318d SE (143) Full BMW service history new clutch n many more receipts I agree not the fastest or best looking BMW but with my insurance being sky high around the 1500 mark with full no claims n no points I was restricted in what I got, I was looking a 1 series but they just wasn't for me So this is how I bought the car First thing was get them se seats out n put some m sport leather ones in ( sorry for bad phone pictures) Then some new wheels Then some hex cube dash trim And upgraded to a BMW m sport steering wheel Decided to wrap front grilles black Then I found what I have been hunting for a lci bonnet cheap, genuine minor damage £50 Shot down picked that up Then spoke to timp who had a stunning e90 lci who was upgrading to preformance package n sold me his full bumper and rear spoiler Put it in at shop to get painted last Tuesday got it back the next Tuesday was doing it at discounted price of £350 ( because I run a taxi firm in liverpool n he wanted me to recommend him....) So here she is The paint job is great !the colour match is not its wayyyyyyy out he's agreed to re do the job untill I'm satisfied and job should b getting done following Monday |

That's looking good man, you've picked the right mods to start out with. What's next?

Cool stuff!
I do have a question though - assuming you're declaring your mods, and including the cost of the mods done and planned, would it not have been cheaper overall to buy, for example, a 6 pot diesel in M-Sport trim to begin with? |

Hi Mate
Car looks lovely, and the LCI conversion is worth every penny spent! Just wondering if you changed the headlight too? Or are they pre lci headlights? |

Oh great! I have pre lci angel eyes, and in the process of a lci conversion however i don't fancy emptying out my wallet on buying lci angel eyes so i guess my pre lci angel eyes will do the job!
