I know they've met at UTC mall in the past and met up with the Carlsbad group on the freeway. Don't know if there still doing it? Haven't seen anything saying if they are. Just wanted to make sure before I drive up to escondido

BMWfromSD, I already posted in the BMWCCA Facebook and have people all set up. If there is another caravan, no one has posted. If there is another site, cool. Perhaps we can meet up somewhere. But, I'm considering this the official meet up for "San Diego to Bimmerfest" site this year.

If there are meet-ups at either location, no one has posted or messaged me. I have posted in all major forums and on the SDBMWCCA Facebook page. No once has mentioned those locations until you.

I would say if there are groups there perhaps we meet up at the rest stop north of Oceanside at 7:30AM so all three groups (if there are others at UTC and Carlsbad) can meet and go from there without back-tracking.

As for two way radios...I don't have one. But I will announce a channel.

I know the utc group is leaving around 615 so a meet up probably won't happen. If your willing to go earlier something may work. I know they like getting there early

I think the UTC /Carlsbad caravan will probably be passing oceanside at about 6:30 at the latest. Usually by 9 there's already a mile long line to get in.
