Well arent BMW hoses, errrr, terrible

Had a slight oil leak out the bottom of the car and got round to checking it this weekend after it smelt quite 'oil burny' when i got home from work on Friday.

I whipped the air box off and it was a bit of a mess down there.

This hose seemed to be the source but it was quite dry so i was skeptical. Spent some time cleaning it all up so i could try and confirm the source of the leak and then just popped the AFM on and ran the engine to see if i could see anything.

Unbelievable. This was after a couple of revs and running for about 20 seconds. Im lucky this hose was dripping onto the intake sides of each of the turbos as it could have been a fire hazard. I know the car is 8 years old but even so! Anyway, i now have to cycle 16 miles to work (ugh) until i can get the part from BMW (ugh). But yeah, id recommend anyone with a 335D has a peer round this area as it seems theyre prone to failure!
