E90 LCI M Tech Bumper
I have a 2011 LCI 328i with the stock bumper and I'd really like to upgrade to the M-tech rather than put splitters and a lip on my old bumper. Does anyone know a good brand that'll fit my car? I'm having a hard time finding one in stock / one that seems like a good value.

Everyone gets them from the same factory overseas. Just make sure it isn't made in China as those are copies of copies and the molds are bad where you can see the mold marks. Some of the eBay ones are china made, even though they are pp, the materials use is bad where it oils out alot when you bake the bumper.

I recently bought a MTech from JGmods and have had primer issues. I got the bumper painted and after a couple of weeks it started peeling. I thought it was a bad paint job but then I got it checked by the body shop that painted it for me as well as a couple of other shops including the dealership and they all told me that it is the primer that is not sticking to the bumper and I need to send it back to the place where I bought it from. Have been working with JGMods to get this resolved but no final conclusion as yet.
Having said that, I went ahead and bought it from JGMods because of what folks on this forum said and I had not read negative reviews about the bumpers that they sell. What I wrote above is also not a negative review (at least not until I know what the outcome is for this matter) but just a word of caution to get your facts cleared out with them before you make the purchase. |

Does anyone know what the deal is and why they are on back order everywhere? I was rear ended and wanna get it fixed but would rather have the mtech rep over the m3. Does anyone know of a shop that has them in stock?

Primer doesn't stick to plastic that's your problem you need SEM flexible primer and or bulldog adhesion promoter. Start up with 400 wet sand paper than apply two coats of adhesion promoter than you can hit with a primer or preferible Sem flexible primer. Than again with 400 grit Gray scuff pad wax and grease remover and your good
