265/30/19 vs 265/35/19 PSS
Hey everyone, I would like some input on the decision I am looking to make on the back tires on my 330 I will be buying Michelin Pilot Super Spots.
I currently run Alfugen CSL reps... (currently 235/35/19 front, 265/30/19 rear). I am going to go 245/35/19 front (less than .5 inch wider, same weight). IF I go from 265/30/19 to 265/35/ 19, what downsides are there? According to the calculator in this forum despite the increase in diam, it is so small, the speedo would stay the same. Would it rub? (stock zsp springs, 19x9.5 40 offset). Would I feel much of a loss in acceleration due to the slightly taller tire? My reason for going to the slightly beefier sizes is that I will pick up a little rubber (wider front contact patch to offset the staggered set up) and a little more cushion for a better ride and less harsh on the rims and suspension... I know I should get 18s... I really love the look of these rims. Thanks !

Get 18's if you are concerned about road hazards and ride, 18 inch wheels with the correct offsets on a lowered car look just as good as 19's on a stock height car.
Stick with 235/35 265/30 35 is too tall in the back speedo will be way off. |

265/35/19 is too tall. If you want something wider, and a little bit taller, you could always try a 275/30/19 instead.

After comparing specs from the DW to PSS, I will be picking up a 1/2 inch tread width in the 265/30 so I will stick with that. This thing obviously isn't some under tire'd torque monster. Plus going up to 245/35 up front will reduce the stagger front to back. Next set of tires I will definitely go down to 18's.
