N54 e92 335xi Replace thermostat

i just hit 85,000 km and got the engine light, after checking the code in INPA, it was: P0128 - thermostat stuck open.

I got the new thermostat

after reading a few posts about this i found that the xDrive is slightly different. I took some pictures during the process of changing it

I couldn't get the sway bar to swing all the way down. there was 2 brackets blocking it, but i found that i could get to the thermostat without completely removing the bar. I just got the power steering hoses out of the way.

I also read on another post that removing the passenger side wheel will help a lot, so i did that and it helped to get to 2 of the hoses

the whole process took 3 hours including adding coolant and bleeding the system.
