Shark fin Antenna
I wanted to change my stock shark fin Antenna to a carbon fiber one. I found a bunch on eBay but, I'm concerned I'm going to get one that is just for decoration and won't fit over the antenna components on the roof. Can someone please show me the one they used? Am I right thinking you just remove it like debageing with fishing line and put the new one on with 3M tape? Thanks

I heard wrapping the fin is one of the hardest things in the world to do. IMO, it's not really worth it to buy a new one or wrap it, but if I had to choose one, I'd have it wrapped professionally.

I purchased one on ebay and it was complete crap. It had a solid bottom which the pictures did not show, so I cut that out and even after that it would not fit. When I asked for a refund the seller said okay then wouldn't refund the money. Ebay finally refunded the full amount for me.
I ended up wrapping the fin, it was difficult and it didn't come out perfect by any means but it got the job done. I would recommend getting it proffesionally wrapped, or order a painted one, or plastidip with glossifier it. It was a pain let me tell ya
