Water Damage - Help
Low mile very clean 328 e91 suffered a sunroof leak. Dealer repaired leak and car is now dry.
However, trunk area electronics were submerged in water for weeks. Battery and wires wet for prolonged period. I do not know how high the water was. Car will now crank but not start. Are there any control modules or other critical connections that could have been destroyed while car was wet? Thanks for your assistance. edit- I see now that there are at least two modules located in that area. TCU & MULF. But neither of those should affect engine function- correct? -Michael Last edited by ihbase; 05-09-2014 at 03:35 PM.. Reason: additional information / questions |
