OK guys, I'm looking for some help. I have been searching the forum for assistance to have only my AEs as my DRL (without parking lights, low beams, etc.) on my '09 LCI e90. I'm looking for the proper coding to make this happen. Can anyone point me in the right direction? What should be active, and what should be inactive?

I have elm 327 and bmwhat app.

However I am not able to code out the rear LEDs when my drls are on. What options did you enable and disable in bmwhat app.

Well after a lot of research and just crossing my fingers, I was able to get everything working as I wanted using NCSExpert. Angel Eyes as DRL without turn signals and much birghter AEs with nettodat coding.

Now I want to upgrade the halogens to xexon.

i can in my '08 so im guessing you can in your '11. i use my stalk to the right of my steering wheel and go to the option where it has a light and a sun next to it (something like that) and just switch it to off.

Hi guys. I'm new to this. Just purchased 2011 328i x drive e90. I have upgrades my angle eye to LED and put in bright bulbs for halogen lights. Now want to code the AEs as DLRs and turn off parking light so only AEs are on. What type of cable , software and codes do I need to complete this? Thanks in advance for ur help!!

BMW standard tools, kdcan cable, and e89 DATENs.

this ties into a question i have;
to use the angel eyes as proper DRLs, i see advertised that special relay wiring harness.....
does coding for DRLs without turn signals perform the same function?
also, can i straight swap to those lux led angel eye bulbs at this point with no additional hassle?

by the way, i'm using BMWhat and i set all the angel eye brightness settings to maximum, but did not notice any increase in the brightness of the angel eyes. any ideas?
