Did a quick camera test with an old Nokia 920
Phone records amazing sound on the video no wind noise whatsoever , car sounds like a wailing banshee or a cummings big truck diesel ! Last edited by 335DEE; 05-10-2014 at 06:58 PM.. |

I've seen others push 810nM on a later LCI cars but don't get to hear about the longevity of doing such numbers. I'm more than happy with the performance maybe not off the mark .. but rolling speeds. I'd be very interested at finding out what the 1/4 and 1 mile times are. |

No chance , me and this car are done , finished , finito.. i've coughed up many thousands keeping this flipping car on the road and by ££££ i mean it..more than the value of the car as it stands .. i'm looking forward to having a month where that car stays out of my wallet (not had one since 2012). I'd love to mod it with a decent stereo maybe get shot of the SE bumpers sadly , This month is no different, it's in for 4 rear subframe powerflex bushes .. which alone cost 230 quid and that's without fitting. The torque of this mod over the last year has slowly ripped the old ones apart. So when you accelerate you can feel the whole chassis twist under the torque
SO here we are again .. just spending to keep it running. There is a thread on here which asks what you've spent on your car this month .. I could fill the same number of posts just by myself on what I have changed and spent. Suffice to say that pretty much the only thing that is original on the car is the chassis and glass .. oh and maybe the seats , the rest has broken, worn out ,split , leaked , perished and snapped. Now however it's done 122k miles but runs like a 30k mile car because everything has been replaced and that includes the gearbox, engine, suspension and turbos , all which have failed at some point ! |
