Ok just picked up my car late yesterday. I was playing with the Ipod to check out whether I had the slow scroll or not. What happens when I start scrolling fast under artist is that I only see the numbers and not the artist name until I slow down the scroll. Is that how it's supposed to work or did it just not have enough time to import the library?

Other than that it seems to be charging and turning off. When I got in the car this morning it started right where it left off last night.

That's right. If you scroll faster it doesn't poll the device it just reads rows from the ipod DB, instead of polling for the name. This is how my car works anyway, and from my understanding the slower method doesn't do this and instead polls each line from the DB on the ipod increasing the request time and then also the scroll time since it's bottlenecked on the ipod database.

Why they didnt pop up A - Z ill never know. I mean whats on row 35 anyway. Granted its better than the slow old system but not much.

What's on Row 35? The 35th artist on my ipod that begins with the letter 'A' is what's on the 35th row.
